Here at London Root Canal the highest level of root canal treatments and re-treatments are provided by our endodontist Dr Carl Agyeman. ABOUT DR CARL AGYEMAN
Background
Dr Carl graduated with honours in 2006 from University College London with a degree in Medical Microbiology. He shortly after decided to retrain as a dentist and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012. After completing vocational dental training in London, Carl spent some years working in private practice in the City of London whilst completing several post-graduate courses. He became a London deanery dental supervisor in 2016 where he trained and mentored newly qualified dentists and in 2018, was accepted into the Royal College of Surgeons Membership of Joint Faculties. For the last few years, Carl has worked in various practices across London and the South East treating complex root canal cases referred to him as well being one of a few accredited level 2 endodontists in the UK. Carl obtained this Masters degree in Endodontics in 2021 and spends 4 days per week treating referrals from other dentists for complex root canal cases, including primary cases and secondary cases. Outside of dentistry Carl spends most of his time together with his wife running after their 2 sons. When he gets a chance, he also loves watching premier league football and The UFC. Carl understands the dentist is not most peoples favourite place to be, he therefore strives to make every patient journey as comfortable and dare we say FUN as possible!
